Nature - animals and plants, birds, fragrant herbs and flowers, the air we breathe, the blue sky with fluffy white clouds, vast expanses of ocean, crystal mountain streams, the world of colors, smells and sounds and inexhaustible bosom of Mother Earth, providing our livelihoods - all this exists, there always seems to us, will live forever. But we are sadly mistaken in thinking so.
Nature has been and remains the sole and permanent source of our material and spiritual wealth. Using this source, people would not think that he had once reached. Imagined himself as the king of nature, people exploit it for centuries: first burnt and then ruthlessly cut down vast forests, drained the river, artificially changed their beds, threw open the huge open spaces, massively destroyed the wild animals.
With the development of scientific and technological progress, this process has worsened: wildlife are not only systematically destroyed, she is dying from pollution. Consequences of reckless human activities are terrible, and the worst damage of all life on the planet caused the XX century. Every year from the bowels of the earth to raise billions of tons of ores of metals, fossil fuels, produce millions of tons are not inherent in the nature of synthetic materials, transported to the fields, millions of tons of various chemicals. Pollutes the atmosphere, changing the composition and properties of natural waters, changing topography, degraded soil, killing animals and plants.
You can say a lot about the relationship between man and nature, but the main thing is that nature - it is our past, our present and our future. How wrong those who believed that the highest achievement of mankind that we were able to conquer nature, to subject it to themselves, their desires and needs! In fact, there absolutely nothing to be proud of: to conquer nature, we have violated its harmony, we'll tear link connecting us with other people. Moreover, we broke the link that connects us with his own inner world.
If you disappear into the harmony of nature and harmony disappear in the world of people. And even left alone with himself, man can not feel happiness, will not try to meet their own lives. Where is this society? It is irresistibly moving toward its own destruction!
